SUNDAY WEATHER ... Clear, cool and VERY windy

After a gusher of rain Saturday, skies turn clear for Sunday with cool temperatures and very brisk winds.

Expect a high today around 60, but winds will blow from the NNW at 20-30 mph, making it feel much cooler for those afternoon parades this Mardi Gras weekend.

Overnight lows tonight will drop to the lower 40s. Winds will decrease to 5-10 mph.

For Lundi Gras, expect mostly clear skies with highs near 65 amid brisk southeasterly winds at 10-15 mph.

Mild temperatures are in store for Mardi Gras, with daytime highs around 73 and lows in the mid 50s. Chance of rain is 20 percent.

Rain re-enters the forecast Wednesday, with daytime highs in the lower 70s. Temperatures will turn cooler by the end of the week.
