Mary Surratt is one of the 12 women featured in the exhibit and thefilm tells the story ofSurratt whowas the lone female charged as a co-conspirator in the assassination trial ofAbraham Lincoln (PG-13). March 13 throughApril 27: Edward Johnson Searcy: Civil Rights Pioneer, an exhibit featuringWest Baton Rouge educator and civil rightsactivist Edward J. Searcy.

March 13 through June24: Select George Rodrigue Paintings by Louisiana's artist laureate. As part of thestate’s bicentennial celebration, view George Rodrigue’s remarkable series ofthe Acadian Diaspora and several of his contemporary "Blue Dog"paintings that have captured the hearts of today’s Louisianans.
