FORECAST ... Stormy Monday, sunny Easter weekend

A possiblity of sever thunderstorms highlights the start of Easter week weather.

Monday's forecast calls for an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms, some possibly severe, with southerly winds at 10 to 20 mph.

Widely scattered showers are expected tonight, followed by partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will drop to around 67, with southeasterly winds at 5 to 10 mph.

For Tuesday, partly sunny conditions prevail with a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers. Highs will reach the mid 80s under SSE winds at 5 to 10 mph.

Rain remains in the picture Wednesday, with a 50 percent probability in the forecast. Highs will reach the lower 80s and the lows in the mid 60s.

Conditions will be pleasant for the Easter weekend. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s Holy Thursday and Good Friday, and the mid 80s Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Lows will drop into the lower to mid 60s.

Expect mostly sunny skies thorughout the weekend.
