TODAY'S FORECAST ... Clearing by day's end

Scattered showers will stay in the forecast Thursday morning, but skies will become partly cloudy late in the day. Highs will approach the upper 80s, with westerly winds at 5 to 10 mph. A 40 percent chance of rain remains in the forecast.

Skies will be clear Thursday night wiht overnight lows near 60.

Only a slight chance of rain is in the forecast for the Easter weekend. Temperatures for Good Friday will be a tad milder, with highs around 80 and lows dipping to the upper 50s.

Expect much of the same for Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the low 80s.

Clear skies and milder temperatures will remain in the forecast for much of the following week.
