Former Plaquemine officer arrested for aggravated kidnapping, assault

Justin Bush, former Plaquemine Police Officer, was arrested for aggravated kidnapping, assault and other charges.

Sheriff Brett Stassi reports that on January 5, 2016, the Plaquemine Police Department contacted the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office to investigate allegations they received from the estranged wife of Justin Bush, an employee of the police department.

            A thorough investigation into an incident that occurred January 3, 2016 was conducted by the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.  When Bush reported to work Tuesday, Jan. 5, he was terminated from his position and arrested by the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office.

            Bush, DOB: 9/17/1987, of 59125 Belleview Road, Apt. 205, in Plaquemine, was arrested for aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, aggravated assault and malfeasance in office.
