Iberville Parish Council honors former Library Director

Iberville Parish Council honored recently retired Library Director Dannie Ball at their July 19, 2016 meeting.

Mr. Ball spent nearly 30 years of service with the Iberville Parish Library.  Ball worked two years as assistant director then 27 years as Library Director.  

Ball was also a longtime member of the Iberville Kiwanis Club, the Iberville Chamber of Commerce Education Workforce Committee and Iberville Strategic Planning Committee.  He thanked the Council, Parish President, Iberville Parish and his wife during the meeting.

“Iberville Parish is truly indebted to Mr. Dannie Ball for his 29 years of service and commitment to the Iberville Parish Library system,” Parish President Mitchel Ourso said.
