LEAD agents seize narcotics and handgun from Plaquemine residence

According to Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi and Plaquemine Chief of Police Kenny Payne, December 8, 2016 the L.E.A.D. Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Center Street.  Agents seized narcotics and a handgun at the residence and arrested Okpara Buggs and Keith Bosley on the following charges:

Buggs, DOB 1/9/92, of 57910 Center Street, Plaquemine was charged with:

2cts of possession with intent to distribute schedule II narcotics;

2 cts of possession with intent to distribute schedule I narcotics;

Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance; and

Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Bosley, DOB 3/17/92, of 58233 Gay Street, Plaquemine was charged with:

Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics;

Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics; and

Resisting an officer.
