Grosse Tete Mayor Michale Chauffe was sworn in to his fourth term of service.

Village of Grosse Tete held its swearing in ceremony of its officials, police and Iberville Parish Assessor last Tuesday, January 3.  For the first time a parish-wide official, Assessor Randy Sexton, was sworn in with local officials.

The ceremony began with a prayer led by Village Attorney Larry Bossier, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance given by Grosse Tete Mayor Michael Chauffe.  Bossier presided over the swearing in ceremony.

Assessor Randy Sexton was the first to be sworn in for his third term, followed by Grosse Tete Chief of Police Tommy Dardenne and his officers.  Re-elected Alderwoman Jeanie David, newly elected Alderman Clint Seneca and re-elected Alderman Marcus Hill were all sworn in to service.
