St. John High School students compete in National Garden Club's essay contest

St. John High School in Plaquemine recently participated in the National Garden Club’s annual essay contest.

This year’s theme was “We Need Our Pollinators.”  Winners of the essay contest were: Cole Lambert in first place and Madison Young in second place.  Katie Carville, Parker Devillier and Sarah Caballero were honorable mention.
