Krewe of Comogo hosts Open House

Krewe of Comogo hosted its annual Open House on Saturday, January 28 from 6 p.m. at 8 p.m. at the Comogo Room 2 in Plaquemine.
Visitors were able to see the lighted Krewe of Comogo floats and tour with Krewe members. The annual Krewe of Comogo parade is a night time parade held in Plaquemine the Sunday night before Mardi Gras each year.
Rene Pierre hosted face painting at the Open House. Pierre is the artist that has painted the unique designs on the various Krewe of Comogo floats. The event hosted over 100 visitors and were welcomed with hot dogs and king cake.
