LBI arrests Plaquemine man for alleged child sex abuse

The Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested Kord Ogden, 20, of Plaquemine on two counts of Sexual Abuse of Children (under the age of 13) and one count of Sexual Abuse Images of Children.

The latter charge means the victims were 13 years of age or older, but still a juvenile.

The arrest came after an investigation between the LBI Cyber Crime Unit, Homeland Security Investigations, the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police.

Ogden was booked into Iberville Parish Jail.

“My office remains dedicated to investigating and arresting child predators,” Attorney General Jeff Landry said.  “We will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of justice for perpetrators who victimize our children.”
