PGC announces February Garden of the Month
The song birds have left. The fields are brown and scruffy. The sky is an overturned bowl of colorless gruel. Old Man Winter came and destroyed everything green, but it did not stop the Plaquemine Garden Club.
The club still managed to find the perfect yard for the month of February. The home of Robert and Susan Dupont located on Choctaw St. features two pots of luscious green ferns at the front door and many beds of beautiful pansies of all colors that provide a welcoming look to help club members appreciate the short cool days and long nights of winter.
The Duponts enjoy maintaining and taking care of their yard.
