19th Annual St. Jude Car Show set for April 29

The 19th Annual St. Jude Open Car Show will be held at the Mark A. “Tony” Gulotta Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park on Saturday, April 29.

Proceeds from this annual event sponsored by the City of Plaquemine, Plaquemine Main Street Program and the Baton Rouge Corvette club benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Onsite registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by an awards program at 3:30 p.m.

The $40 entry fee includes a t-shirt and a wooden plaque with a picture of the vehicle and its owner.  This event awards over 50 trophies to various car owners and is open to all vehicle types, including cars, trucks, motorcycles and ATVs.

There will be food, drinks and sweets available for purchase, and the event will feature a 50/50 ticket, valve cover racing, retail vendors, country store and silent and live auctions.
