IPSO busts four in North Iberville

IPSO narcotics agents seized drugs, paraphernalia and fire arms from a residence in Maringouin.

Sheriff Brett Stassi reports that on May 23, 2017, while on patrol in North Iberville, narcotics agents with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Blake Mims, DOB: 2/26/92, of 77600 Crump Street, Maringouin, for stopping/standing/parking in a prohibited area, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During that arrest, agents secured a search warrant for a residence at 10530 Coates Street, Maringouin.  Agents seized narcotics, drug paraphernalia and weapons from that residence and arrested the following individuals:

Julian Thomas, DOB 3/5/95;

Kiran Thomas, DOB 4/13/93; and

Travion Thomas, DOB 11/14/97.

The three were booked into the Iberville Parish Jail for possession with intent to distribute Schedule I narcotics, illegal possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of justice and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile.
