IPSO nabs burglary suspect

According to Sheriff Brett Stassi, the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in a neighborhood in North Iberville.

A description of the vehicle was dispatched to the units in the area and the suspect was stopped on I-10. Following an investigation, Keon Fisher, DOB 1/19/94, of 2755 Tanner Street, Baton Rouge, was arrested for attempted simple burglary.

Fisher has an extensive criminal history for burglaries, according to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, and may be a person of interest in connection with some burglaries in other jurisdictions.
