St. John teachers awarded grants from Iberville Foundation for Academic Excellence

St. John School teachers recently took advantage of annual teacher grants offered by the Iberville Foundation for Academic Excellence for the 2016-2017 school year in a big way.

Four St. John teachers, Lisa Morel, Brittany Dupont, Patricia Hergruder and Tonya Orcino were awarded grants that provided materials for classroom enhancement.  Teacher Lisa Morel’s grant, “Making ‘makers’ for the Future” is a school impact grant that will benefit most students currently enrolled at St. John School by providing the school with funds to purchase a 3D Printer and supplies.

Grants will be available to all Iberville Parish teachers for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year.  The Iberville Foundation for Academic Excellence encourages all parish teachers to submit applications for teacher grants.
