The International Acadian Festival may have been canceled this year due to the pandemic, but it did not eliminate all traditions. The annual barbecue chicken dinner was held Sunday in Plaquemine. The dinners have been a tradition dating back to the first festival in 1969. The festival has been coordinated annually by the Knights of Columbus Council 970.
