Top Iberville Volleyball Standouts

Payton Passantino – This one is a no-brainer. This senior St. John standout has been dominating the court since her freshman year. She helped lead her team to a semi-final appearance as a junior, and lead her entire team in total kills in the 2015 season. The Lady Eagles will be losing a key player to graduation as Passantino was one of a kind.
Tylar Kelley – Junior middle blocker for the Plaquemine Lady Devils. Kelley had a standout season and shot up the stat charts in blocks and kills this year. She played a pivotal role in the Lady Devils reaching the postseason in 2015. And the best part? She gets to return to the court for one more year.
Carolyne Glaser – Another St. John Lady Eagle. Carolyne just wrapped up her sophomore year on the SJHS volleyball team, and it was even more successful than the last. She has greatly improved in just one year and serves as a dominant force at the net racking up blocks and kills. She will be at SJHS for two more years, look for her to get even better.
O’Neisha Batiste – Batiste just wrapped up her senior year as setter, and what a great setter she was. She served in a leadership role to help bring her team to the postseason under a new coach. She will be missed greatly, and it will be tough for this young team to find a setter good enough to fill O’Neisha’s shoes.
Ariel Bell – White Castle Lady Bulldog Ariel Bell was arguably the best player on the court for the Lady Bulldog team. Though they didn’t have a very successful season, Ariel dominated the court for the team.
