Charles "Charlie" Kimble Case
Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Friday, Jan. 7, celebrated by the Rev. Cleo Milano. Entombment was in Grace Memorial Park.
Survived by his children and their significant others: Vicky A. Case and Craig E. Granier Sr.; Charles "Ed" Case and Jennifer Van Norman Case; Stephen Kimble Case and Lori Arnold Case, Becky A. Case and Daniel J.
Cavalier; three grandchildren, Colby Michael Tullier, James Cole and Breanna Ann Case; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gwendolyn C. and John N. Gum Jr. and Amy C. and Edison Flatau III; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded
in death by his parents, Victor Kurzweg Case and Mildred Schuler Case Thomas; stepfather, Alan Thomas; and grandparents, Ethel and Cyrus Case and Sadie Saurage and C.E. "Red" Schuler. Pallbearers will be Ed Case, Stephen Case, Craig Granier Sr., Colby Tullier, Danny Cavalier, Eric Flatau, Darryn Gum and Calvin Kelley. Honorary pallbearers are Devin Gum, Chene Flatau,
Harry "Billy" Case Jr., Mervin "Butch" Gourgues. He was a graduate of St. John High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He was a member of the National Guard and an avid hunter and fisherman who loved to be outdoors. He loved to crawfish and dance, the nightlife and play with his grandkids.
