St. John High junior standout Jessie Brown and head coach Chase Mancuso took top honors in the recent Division V, District 3 All-District voting.

Brown and Mancuso led the Lady Eagles to a school’s best all-time record in the court and net sport, which included a district championship and a school’s first trip to the state tournament.

Joining Brown on the District 3 first-team all-district unit were SJHS defensive leader Kamryn Theriot (another junior) and White Castle High’s (an MSA West student) freshman Skylar O’Bear.

Second team all-district locals were first-year SJHS varsity player Victoria Weaver and WCHS junior Erica Jones.

Other parish girls notching all-district honors were Plaquemine High’s Amber Smith and East Iberville’s Kaithyn Knight.

Smith notched first-team all-district honors in the strong Division II, District 4, while Knight received all-district second team honors in the Division V, District 4 league.
