The now second-ranked Plaquemine Green Devils looks to reclaim the top spot this week against Belaire.

After their big loss to Zachary last week, Plaquemine Green Devils drop to second place in the LHSAA power rankings, giving up the top spot to Benton.  The Green Devils prove their grit even in a tough loss to a strong team like Zachary and only give up one spot.  Warren Easton remains in third place, followed by Franklinton and Neville respectively.

"After a win or a loss, we move on to our next opponent and that's Belaire this week," said Plaquemine head coach Paul Distefano.

The 6-1 Green Devils look to rebound and prep for their travel visit the 44th ranked 2-4 Belaire team this Friday, October 17.
