White Castle Bulldogs have hit a district win streak after finishing out a tough pre-district schedule.  WCHS traveled to take on district rival Ascension Christian Lions Jan. 17 and nearly broke triple digits in a 97-19 victory.

The high-powered play lead by Ja’Tyre Carter, Darian Pierce, Tamarcus Fair, Kenneth Bracken, Koye Ruffin, Princeton Young, Tre Melancon and Unique and Ryan Young has been dominant all season for the Bulldogs as they jumped out to a 4-1 district record.

WCHS returned home to host rival Kentwood and came away with another blowout victory 69-30.  The Bulldogs sport a 15-11 overall record and will hit the road to take on parish rival East Iberville Jan. 27.

White Castle still holds strong in the top five of the LHSAA 1A power rankings at the number four spot behind Lincoln Prep, Delhi Charter and Sicily Island, respectively.
