East Iberville Tigers split their two home district matchups last week after defeating rival Kentwood 74-57 and falling to parish rival White Castle 57-73.

Earlier in the season, head coach Jason Marks said he is working with his young Tiger squad to learn and adapt to his new system.  Marks took the reigns after longtime coach Doug Schultz stepped down.

EIHS sports a 4-2 district record.  Their only two losses came at the heads of district 6-1A leaders White Castle and Southern Lab.

The Tigers still sit comfortable at 12th overall in the 1A power rankings.  If the season ended today, EIHS would earn themselves a home playoff game.  Look for this team to make a solid push come postseason.
