Keandre Randall named to LSWA Class 4A All-State team

Standout senior Plaquemine Green Devil Keandre Randall was recently named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s Class 4A All-State second team.
The 5’8” senior averaged 19.2 points per game and helped lead his Green Devil team to an appearance in the quarterfinal round of the LHSAA 4A playoff tournament in 2017.
“Keandre has been great since he entered the program,” head coach Donald Johnson said. “He is the most mentally tough kid I’ve ever coached. Being only five-eight and being able to average twenty points per game showed how much hard work can pay off.”
According to Johnson, Keandre scored over 1,000 points in just two seasons.
“Keandre being named to second team All-State is well deserving,” Johnson added. “He earned that achievement and did so with the team concept in mind. I wish him nothing but the best and I’m looking forward to him to do great things on the next level.”
