Xavier University recently announced the signing of White Castle Lady Bulldog Ariel Bell to an athletic scholarship.

Bell will compete on the school’s volleyball team and will be a sprinter in women’s track.  She is a four-time LHSAA Class 1A outdoor state champion in the 100-meter and newly crown champion in the 200-meter dash.  In 2016, Bell tied the all-time state record in the 100-meter event with a time of 11.91.

Over the weekend, Ariel claimed the 100-meter and 200-meter crowns once again with times of 11.94 and 25.13, respectively.  She was also named to first-team all-district to the 6-1A volleyball team.  She will serve at a 5’7” outside hitter at Xavier and plans to major in business.
