The Plaquemine Sandlot Bambinos 10U AA team won the USSSA Championship in Livingston this past weekend. They went 5-0, outscoring their opponents 55 to 18. The Bambinos current record is 16-3-1.

The team will play their next tournament April 13-14 in Youngsville. On Monday, USSSA was so impressed with the Plaquemine Bambinos that they moved them up from the AA to AAA Division.

Coach Chris Daigle is excited for his Team and is proud how hard they have worked to get this this point.

"We take one game at a time and have fun on the baseball field," he said. He’s excited about being bumped up and his players are looking forward to the challenge.
