LSU basketball will try to snap its seven-game losing streak as it faces off against Texas Tech in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge in Baton Rouge on Saturday (1 p.m., ESPNU).

The Tigers (12-8) have dropped seven straight games in conference play after upsetting Arkansas to begin their SEC slate on Dec. 28. LSU hasn't even been competitive in recent contests, losing by at least 18 points in matchups against No. 2 Alabama, No. 16 Auburn, No. 4 Tennessee and Arkansas.

LSU's offense has struggled mightily during that stretch. The Tigers have failed to score 60 or more points in all but one of its last six contests. In LSU's last loss against Arkansas on Tuesday, the Tigers were held to a season-low 14 points at halftime and finished the game shooting 25.9% from the field.

Texas Tech (10-10) has also struggled in conference play. The Red Raiders are 0-8 against the Big 12, suffering narrow defeats to No. 11 TCU, No. 9 Kansas, Oklahoma, No. 10 Texas and No. 17 Baylor.
