LSU women's basketball score vs. Utah: Live updates from Sweet 16 March Madness
GREENVILLE, S.C. ― In March Madness, anything can help.
On the top half of the Greenville 2 regional, No. 9 Miami upset No. 1 Indiana.
For Kim Mulkey and 3-seed LSU women's basketball (30-2), which is the slight betting favorite in its Sweet 16 showdown against 2-seed Utah (27-4), it feels like the gap has substantially closed for it to win the regional.
But it'll have to lock in on the Utes on Friday (4 p.m. ESPN).

The matchup will be tough but if the Tigers packed the defense they've played with during early NCAA Tournament wins over Hawaii and Michigan, they can advance.
LSU star Angel Reese will individually take on Utah star forward Alissa Pili. They both average more than 20 points per game but Reese holds severe edges in rebounding and defense.
