Cajuns will get big paycheck to play Florida State in 2022

UL will visit Florida State in 2022, the Ragin’ Cajuns announced on their football Twitter account Thursday.
The Cajuns will play the Seminoles — who have won three national championships, the last in 2013 — on Nov. 19, 2022, in Tallahassee, Florida.
The game will be UL’s first against FSU, a member of the ACC.
It will be another in a long line of Power 5 non-conference opponents for the Cajuns, who last Saturday lost 38-28 to Mississippi State of the SEC.

On Wednesday, UL also announced a home-and-home series with Wyoming that will begin in 2020.
The Cowboys will visit Cajun Field on Sept. 12, 2020.
The Cajuns won’t return the trip until 2026, when they’ll travel to Laramie, Wyoming.
Wyoming, a member of the Group of Five Mountain West Conference, has won at least eight games in two of the last three seasons.
The Cajuns and Cowboys last met in 1991, with the Cajuns suffering a 28-15 road loss in the only meeting between the two schools.
