David Pollack prediction for App. State, Louisiana football

David Pollack talks to the media Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, on Beale Street in downtown Memphis.

David Pollack picked Appalachian State to win the game.

"Louisiana is interesting," Pollack said. "They beat Iowa State, remember, convincingly. I think by 17 to start the season. ... And Iowa State is moving up the charts, moving up the charts, and Louisiana is finally in the Top 25 — rightfully so, because they handled Iowa State pretty good to start.

"I love App. State. I love their culture. I love who they are. I love what they are," Pollack added. "When they played Coastal (Carolina), by the way, a couple weeks ago. It was a really good contest, a really competitive game until the very end.

"Louisiana's offense is not on Coastal's level, and they're not ready for App. State," Pollack concluded saying about the game. "I'll take App. State."

Negandhi picked Louisiana to beat Appalachian State.

As of Wednesday, Appalachian State is a 2.5-point favorite against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, according to BetMGM.
