The latest College Football Playoff committee rankings came out Tuesday, and it surprised many people that the CFP rankings moved Iowa State up to No. 7 in their Top 25.

Iowa State's record is 8-2.

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are ranked No. 19 with a 9-1 record and a win against Iowa State. Louisiana defeated Iowa State 31-14 on Sept. 12.

The Louisiana football Twitter account slyly expressed its displeasure with the rankings Thursday by using a shrug emoji and the Throwback Thursday hashtag #TBT.

"#TBT to when the 𝘙𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯' 𝘊𝘢𝘫𝘶𝘯𝘴 beat the No. 7 team in the country. On the road. By 17," said the tweet at 10:23 a.m. Thursday.

The tweet included four photos from the Louisiana win against Iowa State.

Louisiana is done with its regular season. It faces Coastal Carolina at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 19, in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game. Coastal Carolina, which is ranked No. 13 by the CFP, is the only team to beat UL this season.
