Tennessee basketball will head to the South Carolina coast for Thanksgiving in 2020.

The Vols will be part of the field for the 2020 Charleston Classic to be played Nov. 19-22 in Charleston, S.C.

UT is one of eight teams reportedly in the field. College of Charleston, Florida State, Houston, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Seton Hall and VCU round out the group.

Teams are guaranteed three games in three days at the College of Charleston's 5,100-seat TD Arena. The tournament bracket will be released in the summer.

Tennessee freshman Josiah James is from Charleston.

UT will play in Niceville, Fla., on Thanksgiving week in the Emerald Coast Classic. The Vols open with Florida State on Nov. 29 and will play either VCU or Purdue on Nov. 30.

Tennessee has played in the Barclays Classic, Maui Invitational, Battle 4 Atlantis and NIT Season Tip-Off in Rick Barnes' tenure.
