Vanderbilt football vs. Alabama will kick off from Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa at 6:30 p.m. CT, the SEC announced Monday.

It will be the Commodores' third night game of the season. Hawaii and Elon were also night kickoffs.

The game will be televised on SEC Network, Vanderbilt's second SEC Network slot of the year after the Wake Forest game.

The Commodores (2-1) travel to Northern Illinois this weekend while Alabama (2-0) hosts Louisiana Monroe. This will be the first SEC contest for both teams.

The Crimson Tide were ranked No. 1 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll released Sept. 11.

Vanderbilt last played at Alabama in 2011, losing, 34-0. The Commodores last beat the Crimson Tide in 1984. Vanderbilt has not won an SEC game since 2019 while Alabama is the reigning SEC champion and national runner-up.
