Watch Vanderbilt defensive back Jaylen Mahoney pick off Gators, capitalize with TD

The Commodores are on a roll at Vanderbilt Stadium.

During the third quarter of the Commodores' matchup with the Florida Gators on Saturday, defensive back Jaylen Mahoney picked off a tipped ball to mark the Gators' second turnover of the game.

Ben Bresnahan helped Vanderbilt capitalize with a touchdown on the following play and caught a pass from Wright and rushed for 28 yards. The score extended the Commodores' lead 28-12 with about two minutes remaining in the third quarter.

With a win over the Kentucky Wildcats last week, the Commodores are in position to earn back-to-back SEC wins since Vanderbilt beat Ole Miss and Tennessee consecutively in 2018.

Vanderbilt leads Florida 28-18 with 12 minutes remaining in the game.
