BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) recently announced that it has appointed Gary Duhe as Director of the Louisiana High School Coaches Association (LHSCA).

Duhe previously served as a high school teacher and coach at St. Amant High School since 2000. Prior to 2000, he held positions as teacher/coach/athletic director at Central High, Plaquemine High, Bishop Sullivan, Trafton Academy, Central Private and Redemptorist.

Duhe has served on the LHSAA's executive committee from 2004 - 2006. He was also founder and first president of the Louisiana High School Basketball Coaches Association and was the first inductee into its hall of fame.
