Baseball

White Castle fell to St. James 11-5 on Wednesday and Plaquemine 15-0 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs, under coach Corey MaGee, will begin play in the Sam Distefano Classic at Plaquemine beginning Thursday and will travel to Donaldsonville Tuesday.

East Iberville fell to Plaquemine 24-2 on Thursday before splitting a doubleheader with Donaldsonville 11-10, 0-7 on Saturday.

The Tigers, under coach Ron Allen, will travel to Donaldsonville for another doubleheader Saturday after hosting East Feliciana Tuesday.

Softball

White Castle defeated Redemptorist 10-7 on Thursday before falling to Loreauville 15-3, Patterson 16-1 and Highland Baptist 14-4 in a tournament at Patterson.

The Lady Bulldogs, under coach Shelly Hudson, host East Iberville Thursday after traveling to West St. John Tuesday and will go to St. John Tuesday.

East Iberville, under coach Eric Sanders, travels to White Castle Thursday before hosting Ascension Catholic Tuesday.
