Baseball

White Castle rebounded from District 9-1A losses to Ascension Catholic 16-0 on Tuesday and St. John 11-1 on Thursday to defeat Pointe Coupee Central 23-4 on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (3-10, 0-3), under coach Corey MaGee, travel to Scotlandville Friday and Pointe Coupee Central Saturday after going to West St. John Monday and hosting East Iberville Wednesday.

East Iberville fell in district play to Ascension Christian 14-1 on Thursday and St. John 15-0 Monday.

The Tigers (1-11, 0-3), under coach Ron Allen, host Ascension Catholic Tuesday after going to White Castle Wednesday.

Softball

White Castle fell to Ascension Christian 11-9 Tuesday and West St. John 14-12 Thursday in District 9-1A play before losing to St. Michael the Archangel 17-11, Northlake Christian 18-14 and Southwood 13-0 in a tournament at Redemptorist this weekend.

The Lady Bulldogs (3-11, 2-3), under coach Shelly Hudson, travel to Ascension Catholic for a doubleheader Tuesday after going to East Iberville Monday and hosting St. John Wednesday.

East Iberville lost a doubleheader to St. John 16-0 and 15-0 on Thursday after falling to West St. John 24-0 Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers (0-6, 0-6), under coach Eric Sanders, travels to Ascension Christian Tuesday.
