War Eagles win two at Episcopal tourney

St. John’s baseball team gathers during a Class 1A semifinal matchup with Mangham at Warhawk Field in the State Tournament last season. The War Eagles defeated Calvary Baptist 11-3 and Isidore Newman 6-3 in the Episcopal Tournament this weekend before falling to the host Knights 2-0. St. John hosts Mangham Thursday at 5 p.m. to open play in the Father Dugas Tournament.
