Friday the 13th lucky for St. John's Eagles who shut out Covenant Christian, 10-0

Reese Barrilleaux took the mound against Covenant Christian Academy and led the St. John Eagles to a shutout 10-0 win.
Half of the St. John runs came in the third inning, during which the Eagles plated five runs.
Collin Barbee, Grant Blanchard, Josh Carbo, Justin Rivet and Adam Theriot led the team in the blowout inning, each picking up an RBI.
Allowing only three hits and no runs over his five innings on the mound, Barrilleaux struck out two on his way to earn the win.
St. John’s offense was hot last Friday, racking up 12 hits in the game. Blanchard, Tre’ Dupont, Landon and Rivet tallied multiple hits to lead the Eagle offense.
The day before, the Eagles overpowered the East Iberville Tigers by the impressive margin of 15-0.
Rivet earned the win from the mound in three innings, during which he struck out five and gave up only two runs.
Leading the Eagles at bat were Barbee, Barrilleaux, Adam Blanchard, Grant Blanchard, Josh Carbo, Brennan Little and Rivet, each tacking on at least one RBI in the lopsided game.
