PHS’ Smith selected to 6-4A first team

Plaquemine senior Amber Smith was recently selected to the LHSAA All-District 6-4A first team.

The Lady Green Devils finished the season 10-17 and were fourth in district standings with a 6-6 mark.

Smith averaged 20 points, seven rebounds, 4.1 steals and 3.4 assists per game.

Earning honorable mention from Plaquemine was senior Jimara Russ. Russ averaged 8.3 points, seven rebounds and two blocks per game.
