The Rayshun McCullar-led Huntington Raiders took Tioga out of the visitors’ game plan early and coasted to 72-45 victory to open the LHSAA Class 4A playoffs Friday night in the Raiders’ gym.

McCullar, the flashy senior, scored 18 points despite playing less than three quarters of the game due to the lopsided score.

“This year, we’ve been putting the work in overtime,” McCullar said. “Last year, we lost in the second round. This year we’ve been in the gym getting after it. I think we’re gonna get it this year – the whole thing.”

The No. 4-seeded Raiders (20-5) also got 17 points from DeCedric Webb and 10 from Sharmaine Thomas.
