PHS's Godchaux selected DL MVP

HOUSTON – Plaquemine's Davon Godchaux was recently selected the 2013 Defensive Line MVP at the Rivals Camp Series.

The event hosted 180 of the top football recruits in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Godchaux also received an invitation to participate in the Rivals 100 Five-Star Challenge held in Tampa, Fla. June 21.

The standout defensive end was selected to the LHSAA All-District 6-4A and LSWA Class 4A All-State first-teams this past season. Godchaux registered 60 tackles including 16 for loss and 9.5 sacks.
