EIHS' Westley places in two events at Brusly meet

BRUSLY – East Iberville's Tony Westley placed in two events to help lead the Tigers to a fifth-place team finish with 41.5 points at the Brusly Invitational Thursday.

Port Allen won the meet with 127 points followed by Brusly's 114. St. John placed 10^th with seven points.

Westley placed second in the 300 and 110 hurdles with times of 42.46 and 15.14.

East Iberville's Jayden Redditt placed second in the high jump with a leap of 5-10 and the Tigers 4x400 meter relay placed third in 3:47.

East Iberville girls' placed ninth while St. John was 10^th.
