Seven selected to Academic All-State volleyball team

Plaquemine's Amber Smith, St. John's Randi Seneca and Jessie Brown and East Iberville's Kirstein Oubre, Nadia Rodriquez, Victoria Ausbon and Marlana Stewart represented Iberville Parish as student-athletes on the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Academic All-State Volleyball teams recently.

Smith was chosen to the Class 4A team and the remaining were selected to the Class 1A team.

Oubre has maintained a 4.0 grade point average in her high school career. Rodriquez has held a 3.8101 GPA in her career and Seneca has kept a 3.7727 grade point average through her four years.

Ausbon has maintained a 3.6192 GPA in her high school career, Brown has kept a 3.5909 grade point average over four years, Stewart has held a 3.5102 GPA in her career and Smith has maintained a 3.5 grade point average in her career.

The All-Academic Class/Division Team is composed of all senior student-athletes from their schools class/division who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Only the highest GPA's from each class/division compose the Composite Team in a sport.
