Lady Green Devils defeat Port Allen, Tara

PLAQUEMINE - Plaquemine Senior High School defeated Port Allen 23-25, 25-14, 25-18, 25-19 in non-district play on Thursday and Tara 25-21, 25-11, 25-16 in District 4-II on Tuesday.

The Lady Green Devils (13-12, 1-5), under coach John Badeaux, were led by Darylniece Tillman against Tara with nine kills and two blocks. Heather Honore had 15 assists and four aces, Amber Harris seven kills, Mia Johnson five kills and three digs, Oneisha Batiste four assists, four digs, three aces and two kills and Kameron Landry six digs.

Johnson had six kills and three aces against Port Allen, while Tillman had five kills and blocks, Harris five kills and four aces, Batiste five kills, six digs, five assists and two aces, Honore 15 assists, eight digs and three aces and Landry nine digs and four aces.
