Runnels eliminates Lady Bulldogs

WHITE CASTLE - White Castle High School fell to Runnels 25-21, 15-25, 25-20, 25-22 in the Division V bi-district round on Wednesday.
The No. 15 seeded Lady Bulldogs under coach Tammy Pierce finish the season 15-14.
Skylar O’Bear led White Castle with 14 kills, 16 assists, 19 digs, four aces and one block. Ariel Bell added 10 kills, eight digs, two aces and one block.
Alaina Williams provided nine kills, seven digs and two blocks and Shylar O’Bear had 10 assists and 12 digs.
No. 18 seed Runnels advanced to face second seed Episcopal of Acadiana in the quarterfinals.
