Westside All-Stars win Babe Ruth State Championship

The Westside All-Stars 7-year-old team from West Baton Rouge parish claimed the Cal Ripken Babe Ruth league state championship on Tuesday, July 2 in Kentwood. The team lost one of their seven games and came back to beat the Pierre Part All-Stars twice to claim the championship in a 16-8 win.
