How much snow, sleet and ice does Nashville, Middle Tennessee have so far?
Just how much sleet, snow and ice have Nashville and the surrounding regions seen since a winter storm hit the Middle Tennessee area this week?
Between two and six inches blanketed Middle Tennessee on Wednesday and Thursday, the National Weather Service in Nashville reported. Before that, between 1.5 and 2 inches of sleet and snow had built up across the region as of late Wednesday morning.
Nashville accumulated three to four inches and Clarksville two to three inches, while Columbia, Waynesboro and Lafayette totaled four to five inches.
"The big winners were southern Wayne, Lawrence, and Giles Counties which reported 6" of snow!" the NWS in Nashville said in a tweet on Friday morning.
